People say black africans roll out the red carpet for whites when they come. This is simply showing a great character if you can treat the people that treated you badly better than they treated you. It shows what kind of person you are.
Africans are showing there great qualities by welcoming people from all walks of life. Same cant be said about europeans etc. You show your a better person when you treat the person or people that have persecuted you in a good way.

I love the song. Almost brought a tear to my eye with the whole we are Africans chant. I am black Caribbean and well most black people in the Caribbean rather identify with their country than with being African. There needs to be a revival of black consciousness in the diaspora for with out it we will never really see ourselves as being African bur rather Jamaican, Dominican, African American and in my case Antiguan.

I live in a society where the only people that will not discribe a Black as African is the same African. If you're Black you're African if you're mixrace you are African. Another issue its if you know it or not but you're African and you're treated and seen as an Afrikan. Police will say so (stop and search), schools will say so (exclusion and low expectations), the courts will say so (harder sentences for the same crime), The sooner we understand the better that we will deal with this issue.
