Omg you have given me so many great ideas on what to use to finish the cardboard Barbie castle my granddaughter and I are building !!! I have just moved into my new place and have a huge surplus of cardboard boxes so we decided to build a castle but I wasnt sure how I was going to get a nice stone like texture for the castle walls and when I seen what you used for the roof of your little round birdhouse ....yes egg cartons ripped up is PERFECT and it won't be too heavy either and it will look just like ancient stonework!!!! All your ideas are brilliant ty ty ty!!!!

Your little round box wall decoration is really nice !!
I'm in the process of altering cat litter boxes and plan to cover them with hemp twine or rope. I've branded the twine, but it takes lots of braid to fill the whole outside of the boxes. Thanks for the idea of crocheting a chain to cover them. I could just crochet panels for the sides and glue them on then trim them with braid. It wouldn't take as long and all of the boxes would be uniform and look really nice on a book shelf. I'm using them to store my paper craft supplies and tools. I'm using the arm and hammer litter and the boxes are strong enough to last and last !!

I love this! My front room is loaded with empty cardboard boxes of multiple sizes (we are still settling in after two years - my husband works graveyard, and there isn't much time to organize while he's sleeping during the day). Thanks to this video, I now have lots of uses for them instead to taking them to a recycling site! BUT I have a question: What is the watery stuff that is applied with a paint brush? Sometimes it's white, and sometimes it's clear.
